Tate's Paint by Number Self-Portrait

My husband Tate had been dying to have a custom paint-by-number kit made up and our current art show, Me Me Me Me Me gave him the perfect excuse! ;-)

Tate chose a photo that was taken of him during our Halloween 2007 sale when he was dressed as D'artagnan from the Three Musketeers. The photo was taken by our friend Colby Katz who is a pretty big deal. You can see above the original photo and the finished painting.

This is where he ordered the paint by numbers kit: http://paintbynumberkit.com/
The kit included the numbered outline and all the paints, plus some pretty decent brushes.

That's a great effort!

I produce custom paint by numbers kits from your photos at http://portraitsbynumbers.co.uk on stretched canvas, starting at 16" x16"

I prefer to re-colour the images to produce something striking because you're producing a new and unique piece of art work!

I think some of the best paintings I've created are taken from more than one photo when two people never seem to be in the same shot togther!
